Samsung Galaxy A50 update now out improving fingerprint reader and camera

While Samsung’s Galaxy flagship phones such as the S series and Note series provide users with a quality experience, they are still quite costly. With that being said, Samsung’s flagship phones may not be the only devices they produce that give users the quality they are looking for in their smartphones.

In Samsung’s new Galaxy A50s, while they put more attention into making it more cost-efficient for consumers there's plenty of flagship quality features. This time around we're taking some hands-on time with Galaxy A50s and its cameras, so do read on to see how it handles.

Smartphones can be divided into three basic categories – entry-level, mid-range and flagship. The differences between Samsung’s entry-level and mid-range phones are very subtle, like the Samsung Galaxy J series (J1 to J8) offers entry-level and mid-range models. On the other hand, the Samsung A series features IP68 water-resistance and dual selfie cameras, but spec-wise they are still very similar to the Galaxy J5 and above.

In 2019, Samsung decided to reposition its phone product categories. Their Galaxy J series has been discontinued and replaced by the Galaxy M series, whereas the Samsung Galaxy A series has been repositioned with different specs and features.
