Samsung Galaxy A55 will reportedly feature an AMD GPU powered by a new Exynos 1480 SoC

Previously, we reported that Samsung Galaxy smartphones may feature AMD graphics, even the mid-range ones. Now, an alleged leak suggests the Samsung Galaxy A55 is one of those devices, with the mid-ranger touted to sport a new Exynos 1480 SoC and with it, an AMD GPU. 

As shared by Dutch publication GalaxyClub, Samsung is reportedly doing internal testing of the smartphone with a chipset with the model number S5E8845. This SoC is believed to be the Exynos 1480, a ye to be announced chipset by the South Korean tech firm.

The report further claimed that the SoC will feature an AMD GPU for improved performance and AI-related tasks. Besides that, GalaxyClub also touted the Galaxy A55 to sport the same 50MP camera as its predecessor.
