The Samsung Galaxy A70 was recently launched and now it is about to get a reboot on the Samsung Galaxy A70S. No word of what new features and upgrades have been heard of but we what we have heard is that the mid-range phone may be Samsung’s first device to utilize their 64MP sensor.
Sources claim that this device may be released in the second half of 2019. For those of you not up to speed, the 64MP sensor is officially known as Samsung’s new GW1 64MP camera sensor. It utilizes a large ISOCELL image with Tetracell technology - combining 4 pixels into one for better detailing, low noise in low light environments as well as better dynamic range.
Samsung’s A series has had a history of testing out Samsung’s new tech to test the market before it is released on future flagships. If this turns out great on the A70S, no doubt we may see this sensor implemented on the Samsung Galaxy S11 or even sooner on the Samsung Galaxy Note10. So what do you think of this sensor?
