Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus will have longer battery life but no noise cancelling

The upcoming Samsung Unpacked is expected to reveal more than just the new Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Z Flip. Samsung now also has true wireless earbuds in the Galaxy Buds and a new one will be announced at the event in February. But before that, some info of the new model has already been released and it's not all good.

According to SamMobile, the Galaxy Buds Plus will not have any active noise cancellation. This is a feature that many hoped it would have and would have been a logical upgrade. Unfortunately, Samsung decided to skip it so you'll have to wait for it to be included in another model.

On the flip side, the Buds Plus supposedly comes with improved sound quality and a larger 85 mAh battery, which should provide longer (estimated up to 12) hours of use. Samsung has also doubled the number of microphones (to four) for the wireless earbuds. This should improve the call quality since that was an area that some felt the current model lacks.

A larger battery, plus improved sound and call quality may be enough to entice new owners. But is it enough for those who already own the Galaxy Buds to justify an upgrade? Let us know what you think on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news.
