Do you happen to know someone with hearing trouble? If so, then you could consider getting them a Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro instead of hearing aids. Allegedly, the Korean company's latest TWS earbuds can actually help those with hearing impairments.

A new study by Samsung claims that the Galaxy Buds Pro can be useful to people with mild to moderate hearing loss. Specifically, the Ambient Sound feature can amplify sound by 20dB. As a result, the user can hear their surroundings much better. The feature also has four levels, which can be used to adjust what can be heard nearby. You can find out more about it in our review.

Samsung conducted its test with a Galaxy Buds Pro, a hearing aid, and a personal sound amplification product. Overall, hearing aids still deliver the best performance. But the study proved that the Galaxy Buds Pro was also able to improve hearing. Samsung's TWS earbuds are also cheaper than the average set of hearing aids, so that's something to consider.

Of course, no one in TechNave has hearing issues, so we can't test this and tell you if it's true. But what do you think? Would you get a Galaxy Buds Pro as an alternative for hearing aids? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
