You might have heard the news saying that the next Samsung Galaxy Buds will not be called Buds Beyond but instead Buds Pro. The name was discovered on the Indonesia Telecom Certification website alongside the model number. Now, the Galaxy Buds Pro has also been certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) before the launch in January.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro which sports a model number SM-R190 has appeared on FCC listing together with some information regarding the case. It is stated that the Galaxy Buds Pro's case will have a 500mAh battery and is able to charge at 2.5W through the USB-C port. Other than that, a sketch of the case might have also hinted that it will feature the same rounded square shape that was seen on the Buds Live's case. However, it looks like only the case will be similar to the Buds Live's but not the earbuds themselves, as it was reported the bean-shaped design will be discontinued.

Besides the pair of wireless earbuds, Samsung is also working on an object tracker that was found on the Indonesian Telecom Certification website as well. The tracker is expected to make use of the SmartThings Find feature that was recently released to let users track their Galaxy devices while offline. The next Samsung Galaxy S series is coming soon in January 2021, perhaps it'll be the time for us to meet the new wireless earbuds and the object tracker.
