We aren't sure if someone is in trouble for leaking the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 roadmap table below, but it's a win for us. Thanks to a kind South Korean-English website, we now know the timeline from the Unpacked 2017 event until the official sales launch date. Check it out below!
- 23 August - Official announcement of Galaxy Note 8 in New York
- 25-31 August - Experiential zone for Galaxy Note 8 (Samsung Digital Plaza, mobile network providers)
- 1-10 September - Galaxy Note 8 pre-order period
- 11 September - Galaxy Note 8 debuts in South Korea
- 11-14 September - Galaxy Note 8 pre-order period for South Korea
- 15 September - Official release date of Galaxy Note 8
Judging by the roadmap, there is a 50-50 chance that Malaysia might also experience the same thing as South Korea. But we will take our chances by being the second wave of countries for getting the device. Looking back at Samsung Malaysia's official launch in Malaysia with all its flagships, we can assume the Note 8 will arrive in Bolehland in October 2017.
In addition, there is also the following statement from a Korean carrier representative, he said
"We are going to be fully ready so that there aren’t any setbacks regarding Galaxy Note 8 sales. It will be important to see how much of initial supplies mobile network providers can secure since they expect that there will be many early buyers of Galaxy Note 8."
