You've waited long but now the suspense is over - the Samsung Galaxy S20, S20 Plus, and S20 Ultra are out! In our other article on the Galaxy S20 series, we wrote about the official specs and expected pricing for the three new devices. All of them are expected to run on an Exynos 990 chipset and QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display, while other specs vary by model.

Each of the three new smartphones also come with a quad-camera setup at the back with varying specs. But what's new are three cool new features, which are the Single Take, Quick Crop, and Space Zoom. We managed to get some hands-on for each feature so here are our first impressions of it so far.

Single Take

When you activate this feature, the device capturing the scene you are pointing at. It will work regardless if you're moving around or standing still. After about 10 seconds, it will generate the best looking photo or video from within that capture session. It might even automatically add filters to the produced video or photo to spice it up, which could be just the stuff you'd need for a TikTok post.

Quick Crop

This one's rather self-explanatory. Let's say you take a shot using the larger 64MP or 108MP lens, you might want to crop out a part of the photo to focus on a particular object. With this feature, you can zoom in on a picture in the gallery and hit the one-press button Quick Crop button and it'll save a new picture based on the zoom result. Nice!

Space Zoom

A new zoom technique designed by Samsung that uses both hybrid optic and super-resolution technology to achieve higher zoom levels. It can go up to 30x zoom on the Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus, while the Galaxy S20 Ultra will have 100x zoom. Best of all, the zoom results mostly turned out quite sharp.

Samsung Malaysia has already announced that you can start to pre-order a Galaxy S20 series device in Malaysia. In terms of price, you're looking at RM3599 for the Galaxy S20, RM3999 for the S20 Plus, and RM4999 for the S20 Ultra 5G. Making your purchase within the pre-order period also means you might be able to get a new Galaxy Buds Plus for free!
