Samsung Galaxy S22+ will sport the Snapdragon 898 chipset with 8GB of RAM

There are lots of rumours coming out about the Samsung Galaxy S22 series recently and one of them which we reported will be the smaller battery on the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus compared to its predecessor. Today, the Samsung Galaxy S22+ appeared on GeekBench 5 with its benchmark scores.

According to the source, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus comes with the model number of SM-S906U which indicates the phone is an US version. The benchmark scores shows It sports the Qualcomm upcoming chipset, the Snapdragon  898 chip that scores 1163 points and 2728 points in the single and multi-core tests respectively. The phone runs on Android 12 with 8GB of RAM.

Based on the leaks, the Galaxy S22+ will sport a flat display with symmetrical bezels and flatbacks just like on the previous models. While the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra’s outlook design has also been spotted, it has a totally different rear camera design than the two Galaxy S22 and S22+.
