Today, Samsung Electronics finally unveiled the Galaxy S25 Edge in South Korea. The company is hailing it as a new balance of premium, pro-level performance in a titanium body, enabled with Galaxy AI. At the moment, the phone has not been announced for the Malaysian market, but here's what we know about it so far.

Starting with its slim build profile, it only measures 5.8mm thick and weighs 163g. Despite the slim body, the Galaxy S25 Edge boasts impressive durability, featuring curved edges reinforced with a titanium frame and the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2. In addition, it also has a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x 120Hz display with QHD+ resolution, Vision Booster and Adaptive Colour Tone.

Samsung also managed to squeeze in a 200MP primary camera, equipped with Nightography and delivering low-light shots with over 40% brightness improvement. Accompanying the primary camera is the 12MP ultrawide lens, which now has autofocus and also enables macro photography. Users can rely on the ProVisual Engine inherited from the Galaxy S25, as well as the Audio Eraser and Drawing Assist, to edit their photos. The front camera is 12MP.

Of course, the Galaxy S25 Edge is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset for Galaxy, offering AI processing and high-speed performance. Its internal vapour chamber has been redesigned, and Samsung also included ProScaler technology, improving image scaling by 40%, and a mobile Digital Natural Image engine (mDNIe) for better visual fidelity. Galaxy AI features such as Gemini Live Now Brief and Now Bar are integrated as well, with support for third-party apps and real-time suggestions.

The Galaxy S25 Edge will be available in Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack, and Titanium Icyblue, with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage capacity. Lastly, it will come with a 3,900mAh battery pack with 25W charging speed, as well as One UI 7 based on Android 15 out of the box. It's worth mentioning that an IP68 water and dust resistance rating is available.

Pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 Edge begin today in the US, starting at $1,099 (~RM4.8K). As we mentioned earlier, Samsung did not disclose the availability for the Malaysian market, so we have no information about it. Hopefully, Malaysia will get a taste of the new slim Galaxy flagship this year.
