It has been a while since Samsung revealed the Galaxy S25 Edge at the Galaxy Unpacked event. Ever since then, not much information or teasers have been given until today. But according to this reputable German website, we may have some good ideas of what the phone will offer.
As marketed, the Galaxy S25 Edge is Samsung's thinnest phone, which measures 5.85mm in thickness. Despite the thin build, the Galaxy S25 Edge could be integrated with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on the back, while the front display is a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel. In addition, the front display supports a 3120 x 1400 pixel resolution, a 120Hz dynamic refresh rate and even an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
Moving on, the Galaxy S25 Edge is likely to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, but it's not just any flagship unit, but a specialised Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, clocking up to 4.41GHz, the same one as the other Galaxy S25 models. Moreover, the phone should come with 12GB of RAM and two memory storage options in 256GB or 512GB. The battery pack is said to be 3,900mAh.

On the other hand, the dual rear camera could consist of a 200MP (main) + 12MP (ultrawide) setup. Only the main camera has OIS, and there seem to be not enough space for a telephoto lens, despite the protruding camera bump. Meanwhile, the front camera is a 12MP sensor, and other noteworthy features include an IP68 water and dust-resistant rating, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and wireless charging support.
According to the source, the Galaxy S25 Edge is set to launch in Germany at the end of May 2025, starting at €1249 (~RM6K) for the 256GB model, while the 512GB variant costs €1369 (~RM6.7K). Furthermore, Samsung will offer the phone in Titanium Jetblack, Titanium Icyblue, Titanium Silver.
Of course, no official word has been announced by Samsung yet. Until then, we will have to wait and see more details on the prices and availability in the Malaysian market. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
