A sneak peak of the latest talk of the town, the newest addition of the Samsung Galaxy S series, the S7 edge
It's been 5 days now ever since Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge in Barcelona, and Samsung fans in Malaysia have been wondering when will the devices be available in soon. Well, turns out it's coming real soon. As Samsung Malaysia Electronics just did an exclusive sneak peek of the new Galaxy S7 edge, which is equipped with a Dual Pixel camera technology that is usually found in high-end DSLR cameras.

As explained in our deeper look at the Dual Pixel technology, the camera can now deliver brighter and sharper images, even in low light conditions thanks to brighter lens with wider F.17 aperture, bigger pixel, faster shutter speed and a more accurate autofocus even at night. What's more, the Gear VR Consumer Edition was also present during the private viewing, and attendees had the opportunity to fully immersed themselves into the cinematic virtual reality experience with the Galaxy S7 edge.
To recap the specifications, the Galaxy S7 Edge features an Exynos 8899 processor octa core (2.3GHz Quad + 1.6GHz Quad) + quad core (2.15GHz Dual + 1.6GHz Dual), 64 bit, 4GB RAM (LPDDR4), 32/64GB internal storage (microSD expandable up to 200GB), 5.5-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED with 2560 X 1440 resolution, measuring in 150.9 x 72.6 x 7.7mm and weighs 157g, Dual Pixel 12MP (F1.7 and Smart OIS) rear camera + 5MP (F1.7) front camera, supports LTE Cat.9 , NFC, MST, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity, operating in the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and packs 3600 mAh battery. In addition, the device also has a fingerprint sensor, Samsung KNOX, Always-On Display, a new Game Launcher app, Edge UX, and wireless Charging that is compatible with WPC and PMA.
