Price and availability for Malaysia?

(Updated) - The Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be available starting on 21 April 2017 globally, but we are not sure if Malaysia is part of the first wave or not. And according to Lee Jui Siang, VP of IT and Mobile at Samsung Malaysia Electronics, he confirmed that the two flagship devices will be ready for pre-order on 11-13 April 2017 in Malaysia. The pre-order package will also come in a bundle and will only be available in Midnight Black, Maple Gold, and Orchid Gray.

No prices were also mentioned during the event, but the telcos in the U.S. have already listed theirs. According to sources, here's how the full price looks like there

Telco Galaxy S8 Galaxy S8+
Verizon $720 $840
AT&T $750 $850
Sprint $750 $850
T-Mobile $750 $850

Back when the S7 and S7 edge was released last year, it was only $669 and $769 respectively. After conversion excluding tax and GST, the "cheapest" we could get is only around RM3182 for the S8, and around RM3757 for the S8+.

We shall see when Samsung Malaysia makes the announcement officially. Stay tuned for more Samsung news at TechNave.com!
