Did you know you can get the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 via the PerantiSiswa programme?

If you want the best Samsung tablets, the Galaxy Tab S9 models launched in July are the models for you. But the upcoming Galaxy Tab A9 could be the better choice for those with a more modest budget. Earlier today, some info for this model was revealed.

According to a Geekbench record, Samsung has a new tablet with the model number SM-X115. This is rumoured to be the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9, which scored 735 points and 1766 points on the single and multi-core Geekbench tests. The benchmark confirms that it has 4GB of RAM, typical for an entry-level tablet.

More importantly, it's believed that the tablet runs on MediaTek's Helio G99. This chipset sports an octa-core CPU with 2x performance cores (2.2GHz) and 6x efficiency cores (2GHz). It should also have a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, which should be enough for some basic mobile gaming.

It's nothing fancy or high-end, but this could be what the budget-minded needs. If you're keen on sticking to Samsung's OneUI ecosystem and need a tablet, it's worth considering. But what do you think? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for further updates.
