Today, not only did Samsung unveil the latest Galaxy S22 series smartphones but as well as the Galaxy Tab S8 series. The new tablets come in three variants - the Galaxy Tab S8, S8+ and an S8 Ultra. Here's what you need to know about them.
With three different tablets, the Galaxy Tab S8's display measures 11-inches, followed by the S8+ and S8 Ultra with 12.4-inch and 14.6-inch respectively. All of the devices support up to a 120Hz refresh rate as well as an S-Pen stylus which is said to be 30% less latency. Besides the display sizes, the rest of the tech specs remain the same.
You may probably notice a notch on the right side and it isn't a mistake, it's the real thing and features dual 12MP front cameras. The ultra variant has a special ultrawide 120-degrees lens and all three can do 4K video recording with an Auto Framing function. On top of that, users may even use a pro video editing app with LumaFusion as well as Live Sharing with Google Duo.
Running on One UI Tab 4, the Galaxy Tab S8 series was designed to function as a PC. This means you can DeX mode it with a Samsung 2-in-1 keyboard and do multi-window too. Finally, it supports up to 12GB + 256GB memory capacity with expandable storage of up to 1TB via a microSD card. The processor isn't specified but should be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The battery capacity goes from 8000mAh, 10,090mAh to 11,200mAh respectively.
