After recently launching their Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2, Samsung Electronics and Under Armour Inc collaborated to release the exclusive Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 Under Armour Edition. Designed for dedicated runners it offers cadence based real-time coaching using MapMyRun and UA HOVR connected footwear. In addition, Galaxy Watch Active 2 Under Armour Edition users will also get 6 months free MapMyRun Premium Membership access.
Before workouts, the Galaxy Watch Active 2 Under Armour Edition offers access to training plans while during the workout you’ll be able to see key data like heart rate, pace and form to compare your progress. Available in 44mm with a black strap and 40mm with a Mod grey strap, the Galaxy Watch Active 2 Under Armour Edition is powered by an Exynos 9110 chipset, Tizen OS and 768MB of RAM with 4GB of storage. It supports Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, NFC, A-GPS, 5ATM + IP68 resistances, MIL-STD-810G shock resistance and more with WPC based wireless charging.
No exact Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet, but the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 Under Armour Edition is going for $309 (~RM1299). Since this is just a bit higher than the standard aluminum Bluetooth Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 at $279 (~RM1173) this sounds like a pretty good deal. What do you think? Would you pick up a unit if it does arrive here in Malaysia? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com
