If you look at smartwatches from a big brand, there are plenty of options around. For instance, there's the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 launched last year. But what if you wanted a more affordable option? Well, it seems Samsung has something in store for us.

According to Android Headlines, a Samsung Galaxy Watch FE is on the way. The source allegedly found hints of the device, which is expected to be a variant of the older Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. Its model number is SM-R866F for the global market, while the US and Korean models are SM-R866U and SM-R866N. No other details were given, but it's hinted that the watch could launch this year.

The Galaxy Watch 4 was launched in 2021, so it's a 3-year-old device by now. It came with a 1.3-inch AMOLED display, 16GB of internal storage, an IP68 rating, and a 361mAh battery. If the Galaxy Watch FE is a new variant of this older model, we can expect many of its specs and features to remain the same. For reference, you can check out our review of the watch here.
