Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 could have built-in slot for S Pen

It has long been clear that the Galaxy Note series is not coming back. Instead, Samsung is adding the core functionalities of that series to the Ultra variants of the Galaxy S series. Now, it looks like we can officially add the Galaxy Z Fold line to that list.

According to The Elec, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will come with a 'designated slot' for an S Pen. In other words, it could have the next device to fully support the features of an S Pen, making it another Galaxy Note replacement. For comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 doesn't have a dedicated slot, but there's an official case that comes with a slot.

Due to the inclusion of an S Pen slot, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 could be slightly larger than its predecessor. The source claimed that the device could come with a 7.56-inch main display (vs 7.55-inch). On the other hand, the cover screen would be slightly smaller at 6.19-inch (vs 6.2-inch). Besides the Galaxy Z Fold 4, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 could also come with a larger 1.9-inch cover screen.

Mind you, Samsung is probably still in the planning phase and things could still change. But expect more rumours to pop up in the months to come, so stay tuned to TechNave for more updates.
