Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 might use a harder type of UTG

If you want an Android smartphone with stylus support, you'd either get the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G or the Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G. But the Galaxy Z Fold 3 has a more fragile screen, limiting users to the use of a stylus with retractable tips. Fortunately, Samsung could change this year.

According to a leaker, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 could come with a new UTG (ultra-thin glass) with improved hardness and quality. This new UTG will allegedly allow Samsung's foldable devices this year to use the regular S Pen. The company is also expected to solve some problems that are "related to quality". In this case, it's referring to the implementation of the S Pen with last year's model. A previous rumour also suggested that Samsung would include a built-in S Pen slot for the Galaxy Z Fold 4.

Considering Samsung's focus on improving its foldable devices, this rumour could be accurate. But it'll be a long time before we get more news about this, so stay tuned to TechNave for more leaks.
