Runners, this may be your best solution to tangled wires while running. The Samsung Gear IconX is a wireless earbud that doubles as your fitness tracker device. It fits nicely in your ear, and you can run with it without the need of your phone near by.

The IconX is a true wireless bud, as it houses the sensors, batteries and event storage into something smaller than a 20 Sen coin. Inside this tiny device however is a full suite  of health sensors that will track your movements and stats while you go on your daily exercise routine.

It includes a Voice Guide feature that provides instant voice feedback on the user’s workout progress and provides a standalone music listening experience. Also with Bluetooth capability and an internal storage that can play up to 1,000 MP3s, users can simply tap or swipe the earbuds to easily control the music – no need to press tiny buttons on the device to change volume, songs and such.

It will be out later this year, for USD 199 (~RM 825). Samsung Malaysia hasn’t announced any plans for local availability, so stay tuned to TechNave for more info further down the road.
