Samsung Malaysia partners with Malaysian Red Crescent Society and contributed three ambulances

Today, Samsung Malaysia Electronics is proud to announce that they have partnered up with Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS). By this initiative, the company has provided three ambulance transport units to MRCS in an effort to support their voluntary relief movement.

The three ambulance units are fully-equipped with mobile medical facilities to handle emergencies or patient transport, this will surely meet the needs of the local communities in Malaysia by facilitating the administration of emergency mobile care.

“Samsung aims to help communities by providing better access to healthcare solutions and services to communities we live in. With this contribution of ambulances to the Malaysian Red Crescent Society, we hope to make positive change,” said Dato’ Roh Jae Yeol, Director of Corporate Affairs, Samsung Malaysia Electronics.

This is not the first time that Samsung Malaysia has gave a helping hand, as they have organised various corporate citizenship programmes centering around education such as the Samsung SMART Library and the Samsung TECH Academy campaign to educate and empower young Malaysians.
