Virtual RAM is probably one of the hottest things in the Android smartphone market nowadays. With many Chinese OEMs offering their take on the technology, Samsung has also jumped on board by rolling out "RAM Plus" to Galaxy A52 users.
Users will get to enjoy an increased amount of RAM by installing the October 2021 security patch for the device. It will bring an extra 4GB of RAM, but a small sacrifice will be needed since it uses some amount of local storage.
However, unlike others, Samsung's feature lacks customization. Users will be unable to disable the feature nor change the amount of RAM. If a device supports RAM Plus, it'll be enabled permanently. To check whether your device is eligible for the feature, you need to navigate to Settings > Battery and device care > Memory.
