Samsung could introduce adaptive Split UI at Galaxy Z Fold 3 launch

There's been plenty of rumours about the hardware features of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, but what about software? Well, the company could be working on an update for One UI. Specifically, this update would be relevant for devices with flexible displays.

According to Ice Universe, Samsung could be bringing a new adaptive UI to the Galaxy Z Fold 3. It's a new feature that will allow One UI to seamlessly transition between form factors. As you can see from the images, apps on the device will automatically adapt to changes in orientation and screen size. It even shows how users can manually adjust a split-screen.

If you ask us, this update could be meant for the company's rumoured Galaxy Z Slide rollable device. The idea is for the display to adjust automatically as you roll out the display. Besides that, the Split UI's screen-splitting feature could be useful for other devices, such as the Galaxy Z Fold series and Galaxy Tab tablets.

Of course, nothing has been confirmed so far. But Ice Universe is a rather reliable leaker, so we're inclined to believe this rumour. Having said that, what do you think about the Split UI? Would you find it useful? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
