Looking forward to testing the new Android version on your Samsung Galaxy smartphone? You won't have to wait much longer because the release could happen soon. In fact, it's reported that the beta for One UI 7.0 could be released next week.

According to IceUniverse, the One UI 7.0 beta could begin next week. South Korea and the US are the first countries expected to gain access, followed by a gradual global release. The tipster also claimed the new version will have many "fashion elements". Specifics were not mentioned, but we assume it means a redesign of UI elements.

Fortunately, there were some details from a separate source that responded to IceUniverse's post. This source claimed that the One UI 7.0 beta is expected to showcase new transitions, a modernised UI, redesigned icons for Samsung apps, and more. There will also be new generative AI features, including AI Notification reported last week.

One UI 7.0 seems to be focused more on upgrading the user interface, so it might not be that big of an overhaul compared to when Galaxy AI was first introduced. However, since Android plans to have two updates annually starting in 2025, we could see another big One UI update within 1H 2025. We'll keep an eye out for updates, so stay tuned to TechNave for more news.
