Samsung officially confirms that it may refurbish or rent Galaxy Note 7

After Samsung India denied that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 would get recycled with smaller batteries, Samsung Global has since responded that yes, "devices shall be considered to be used as refurbished phones or rental phones where applicable". Of course, there are conditions to this as Samsung have further explained that it depends entirely on whether the government and other regulatory authorities or carriers would be interested. No release dates or pricing details yet but Galaxy Note 7 devices that didn't make the cut will be recycled to extract precious metals in an environmentally friendly manner.

What do you think? Would you buy a refurbished Samsung Galaxy Note 7? For how much? Discuss in our Facebook page and let's hope that Samsung pay attention to those asking for affordable price tags (maybe just a bit more than the RM2299 Galaxy C9 Pro?)
