Samsung releases new monitors for productivity and play + new Q-Series Soundbars

Besides the Neo QLED 8K and some new lifestyle TVs, Samsung also introduced a couple of monitors and soundbars from their Unbox & Discover livestream. From gaming to casual usage, here's what you need to know about the new devices.

First up, the first monitor Samsung presented was none other than the Odyssey G9. First debut in 2020, this model is improved with a Quantum MiniLED display and premium gaming features such as 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. The 1000R screen curvature is now combined with Quantum MiniLED display technology which can definitely give gamers a new visual experience. There are also other variants - G7, G5 and G3.

On the other hand, there's a new Samsung Interactive Display FLIP 75-inch monitor. It's a new digital whiteboard that lets you write, draw, and edit on and can be used in a classroom, the office, or at home. It features a 4K resolution and mainly designed for collaboration, increase productivity and real-time content sharing up to 20 via personal devices. Lastly, Samsung also unveiled a new Smart Monitor which is a "do-it-all" monitor that is compatible with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Wireless DeX, and Apple AirPlay 2.

To the audio corner, Samsung is launching a 2021 Q Series lineup which includes new Q-Symphony technology that delivers 3D sound. One of the newest audio devices is the Q950A which is the industry's first 11.1.4 channel sound speaker, alongside Bass Boost and Tap Sound. Tap Sound is a new feature that lets the user play music from their mobile devices.

Samsung Malaysia is probably bringing in some of the new monitors and soundbars into the Malaysian market, so we shall wait and see. There's no official price tag as well so until then, stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
