Shopee Malaysia has announced the App Protection Warranty programme, which allows users who bought any of the selected Huawei devices (see the list below) from 1 July until 30 September 2019 from participating dealers on Shopee to get a full refund if some apps are not working. These dealers include the Huawei Official Shop, Huawei Concept Store, DirectD, Senheng, Courts Flagship Store and Satu Gadget.
Below are the Huawei devices that are eligible for the refund, should they fail to access any of the selected applications such as the Google Play Store, Google Maps, Gallery, Chrome and Youtube from Google. In addition to that, Facebook, Instagram as well as WhatsApp are also included in the list. Do take note, these devices must have a valid manufacturer warranty in order to perform a full refund.

- P20, P20 Pro
- P30, P30 Pro
- Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 X
- Nova 3i
- Nova 4, Nova 4E
- Y Max, Y5 2019, Y5 Prime 2018
- Y6 2018
- Y7 Pro 2019
- Y9 2019, Y9 Prime 2019
- MediaPad M5, M5 Pro, M5 Lite 10, M5 Lite 8, T3 7, T5 10
