By next week, LG would officially unveil its new LG Wing smartphone. While it's fun to see videos of how the phone could be used, the one thing many were curious is how the swivelling display worked. Well, a new leaked hands-on video has done just that.

In the leaked video, we see that the primary display swivels anti-clockwise to close. It's uncertain if the opposite direction is possible, though maybe keeping the swivelling limited would be better for it to last longer without becoming loose. We also get to see the phone from the sides and it's thicker than most phones as expected.

Besides that, the video also showed that the device has the standard layout of a USB Type-C port and speaker grille at the bottom, SIM tray on the left, and buttons on the right. If you consider that this phone is likely to have a mid-range Snapdragon 765G chipset, the dual-screen aspect is the only real reason for anyone to get this phone.

Of course, it's up to LG to get people to buy into the concept. But if they succeed, then LG would be able to start a trend for once. Having said that, what kind of apps or tasks do you think can benefit from the LG Wing's unique form factor? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave for more news.
