Are you looking to add Android TV capabilities to your 4K TV without having to replace it with a smart TV? Then maybe the next Google Android TV device could fit your needs. Code-named 'Sabrina', this device is expected to have several great features, including a remote controller that allegedly has a programmable button.

According to XDA Developers, the marketing video that appeared earlier in June contained a few more details such as the specs. The Sabrina Android TV will come with an Amlogic S905X2 chipset and 2GB of RAM. In the chipset, there's a total of four Cortex-A53 CPU cores and a Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. It was also pointed out that the S905X2 chipset is commonly used in Android TVs, including the unifi TV Plus Box by Telekom Malaysia.

Besides the specs, some features that will be available in an app called "SabrinaService" were also uncovered. One of it is Auto Low Latency Mode that will make the connected TV avoid post-processing functions that will add to the latency to the display signal. This is seen as useful for gaming, implying that the Sabrina Android TV could be made compatible with Google Stadia. Another feature is the 'GlobalKeyReceiver', which some people believe could be a programmable button.

Since these details are found in a pre-release firmware, the specs listed may not be final. The info on the features isn't very reliable either, as they're speculative at best.
