Two weeks back, reports suggested that Sony was ready to announce the PlayStation 5 Pro. First launched in November 2020, the PlayStation 5 (PS5) is a powerful gaming console capable of 4K gaming. Tonight, Sony is likely to announce the upgraded version of this console.
Late yesterday, Sony PlayStation posted an announcement on X about a Sony PS5 technical presentation. The presentation by Mark Cerny is to be held at 11PM (MYT) tonight. It will be a compact 9-minute stream focusing on PS5 innovations. As some of you know, Cerny is usually present for all big PlayStation announcements.
Tune in tomorrow for a PlayStation 5 Technical Presentation hosted by Mark Cerny

More importantly, his presentations usually mean the console is ready for launch. Another fact to note is that Sony has a tradition of launching its PlayStation consoles in November, close to the Christmas and New Year shopping season. As such, we fully expect the Sony PS5 Pro to launch in November 2024.
