Asides from the recent announcement from Sony Mobile Malaysia about the Sony Xperia Z5 Dual, Xperia Z5 Compact and Xperia Z5 Premium Dual, they also announced 2 new devices to their smart wearable range with the Sony SmartBand 2 and SmartWatch 3. Featuring an advanced heart rate sensor, the 2 new devices offer improved lifelogging, intelligent notifications and more stylish options to choose from.
The Sony SmartBand 2 is fully compatible with both Android and iOS devices and provides fitness tracking, smartphone notifications via RGB LEDs and allows easy control of your music. Featuring a battery life of up to 2 days the SmartBand 2 comes in a variety of strap colours (white, black, indigo and pink), is IP68 certified water resistant and is available at all authorized sellers and Sony Stores for RM599.
The Sony SmartWatch 3 on the other hand is the Android Wear smartwatch of the duo which enables voice commands and interaction via a new 1.6-inch 320x320 TFT LCD Transflective display. Available in Classic for RM1099 and Stainless Steel for RM1399, with extra colour straps for RM199 at all Sony Stores as well as selected Sony Centres the Sony SmartWatch 3 is IP68 waterproof and charges via a microUSB port. With 4GB of internal storage the SmartWatch 3 offers standalone music playback and GPS positioning allowing you to leave the smartphone at home while you go for a jog.
