Sony WF-SP800N earphones will launch in July 2020, provides up to 26 hours of battery life

True wireless stereo (TWS) earphones are becoming a dime and a dozen these days, but Sony remains a leading brand in this area. The company's next offering is the new WF-SP800N, which is a model that's catered to people with an active lifestyle. Sony is expected to launch it in Malaysia sometime in July 2020.

The WF-SP800N sports earphones come with rather impressive features and specs. It has active noise cancelling to ensure that you can zone out while you exercise and Adaptive Sound Control, which will adjust the ambient sound according to your environment. It also has Sony's EXTRA BASS technology to deliver punchy bass, as well as other features like 360 Reality Audio, Adaptive Sound Control, gesture controls, and more.

It's got great endurance as well, with a battery life rated at a total of 18 hours when you include the charging case (9+9 hours) or 26 hours if you turn off the active noise cancelling. On top of that, a 10-minute charge is enough to get 60 minutes of music playback. Its arc supporter and 3D curved design also ensure good fit and comfort, while its IP55 rating keeps it safe from water splashes, sweat and dust.

Sony has yet to reveal the price for the WF-SP800N, but expect it to be around the RM700-800 range, based on the pricing for the WF-SP700N (RM749 at launch).
