After two months, the Sony Xperia 1 V is finally now in Malaysia. At the price of RM6399, there's an ongoing Early Bird Bundle Promotion until 31 July 2023, where customers can get the camera-centric phone with other goodies during the period.
According to Sony Malaysia, the Early Bird Bundle Promotion comes with a pair of WH-1000XM5 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones as well as a free Clear Casing and Glass Screen Protector. On top of that, early bird customers can also enjoy an additional three-month free warranty* when they register their product warranty at My Sony. For your information, the WH-1000XM5 is worth RM1799.
To briefly recap the Xperia 1 V, the phone features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a 6.5-inch OLED 4K HDR 120Hz display, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage (expandable via microSD card), and a 5000mAh battery with fast charging and wireless charging technology. Moreover, it also has IPX5/IPX8 and IP6X water and dust-resistant ratings.
For what is worth, the Xperia 1 V is quite a niche product for professional mobile photographers and videographers to make the best use of the X1 and Exmor T software for that purpose.
