Not to be confused with the Sony Xperia 1 III, Sony Malaysia just announced on its Facebook page that the Xperia 10 III pre-order is now live. Available in blue and black, the pre-order will go on until 20 September 2021 at the price of RM1999.
Just like the Xperia 1 III pre-order, pre-ordering the Xperia 10 III during the promotion period will grant the customer a free fair of Sony WI-C310 wireless in-ear headphones. If you have been looking to get yourself a piece of wireless audio product, perhaps you can consider it since it's worth RM199. The pre-order can only be made at the official Sony Malaysia store right over here.
Looking at the price tag of RM1999, you should know by now that it's a mid-range tier smartphone so let's recap some of the tech specs. For starters, the Xperia 10 III features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 5G chipset, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS storage (expandable up to 1TB via a microSDXC card). The OLED display measures 6-inches (21:9 aspect ratio) in FHD+ resolution and HDR-certified, alongside a 60Hz refresh rate and 120Hz touch sampling rate.
For the cameras, there is an 8MP front camera but not as a notch on the OLED display. The triple rear camera configuration consists of a 12MP (main) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 8MP (telephoto) sensor. The battery pack is 4500mAh and finally, it comes in Android 11 out of the box.
