Sony Xperia 5 II appeared on TENAA before being launched on 17 September
Earlier, a promo video has been leaked giving us a look at the Sony Xperia 5 II before an imminent launch. The device is expected to feature some impressive tech specs including Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset and a 120Hz OLED display. Today, the certification of the device on TENAA has revealed some images and extra information as well.
According to the images from TENAA, the Xperia 5 II will have a triple camera module at the back. It is mentioned that the camera lenses will be coated with ZEISS T* anti-reflective material. On the sides, you can also see a power button, a volume rocker, and a dedicated camera shutter button that has been previously teased in the promo video. There is also another mystery button which is claimed to be a dedicated video shutter or Google Assistant button.
For the 120Hz OLED screen, it is going to be a 6.1-inch panel and comes with a 21:9 CinemaWide ratio. Compared to last year's Xperia 5, the Xperia 5 II will have 1 to 2mm thinner top and bottom bezels as well. For connectivity features, it will have dual SIM card slots and support 5G connection.
