Sony Xperia 5 II appeared on TENAA before being launched on 17 September

Earlier, a promo video has been leaked giving us a look at the Sony Xperia 5 II before an imminent launch. The device is expected to feature some impressive tech specs including Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset and a 120Hz OLED display. Today, the certification of the device on TENAA has revealed some images and extra information as well.

According to the images from TENAA, the Xperia 5 II will have a triple camera module at the back. It is mentioned that the camera lenses will be coated with ZEISS T* anti-reflective material. On the sides, you can also see a power button, a volume rocker, and a dedicated camera shutter button that has been previously teased in the promo video. There is also another mystery button which is claimed to be a dedicated video shutter or Google Assistant button.

For the 120Hz OLED screen, it is going to be a 6.1-inch panel and comes with a 21:9 CinemaWide ratio. Compared to last year's Xperia 5, the Xperia 5 II will have 1 to 2mm thinner top and bottom bezels as well. For connectivity features, it will have dual SIM card slots and support 5G connection. The device will be announced on 17 September as the brand's latest flagship.
