The Sony Xperia Z2 smartphone is finally and officially here in Malaysia starting from a retail price of RM2399. Announced on the Sony Mobile Malaysia Facebook page, the Xperia Z2 is currently the company's main flagship smartphone. Like the Xperia Z1 before it, the Sony Xperia Z2 is a culmination of all the best technologies from all of the various electronics departments that make up Sony. Those who buy the smartphone at a Sony Outlet store can get a Magnetic Charging Dock DK36 and Xperia Transfer Cable EC310 while those who don't, will still be able to get a Sony Experience Pack which includes movie streaming and Micheal Jackson's Xscape album. Sony recently showed off their latest devices unveiled at MWC 2014 which included the Sony Xperia Z2, Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia M2, Xperia T2 Ultra, Smartwear and Xperia Z1 Compact. What is even more interesting is that all of these devices could be coming to Malaysia very soon in the coming months. While we're excited to see the latest Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet becoming available here so soon, we're also looking forward to the Xperia Z1 Compact, which to date is the only mini version smartphone to retain more or less the same tech specs as the smartphone it originated from which is the Sony Xperia Z1. No news or details yet on specific Malaysia release dates or pricing but we expect the LTE enabled devices to come bundled with any of the new 4G LTE telcos which now includes DiGi, Celcom, Maxis and U Mobile.

The Sony Xperia Z2 not only offers a 5.2-inch display that looks much better than it's predecessor but also features new display technology such as the new Live Colour LED tech, used in tandem with the existing Full HD 1080p Triluminous display. The tech specs and features have been updated accordingly with the Snapdragon 801 processor and chipset, 3GB of RAM and 4K video recording. But that isn't all, as the Xperia Z2 also offers new stereo speakers with noise cancellation tech built in. While there is still no mention as to Malaysia release dates or Malaysia pricing, many are expecting the smartphone to arrive in Malaysia in or after March 2014.
