As announced by Sony two weeks ago, the a7s III finally makes its debut yesterday. Sony's new camera aims to deliver incredible low-light performance and video recording capabilities, without having to shell out top bucks for a camcorder. It's now available in the US for about USD 3500 (~RM14873), though we can expect it to launch in Malaysia eventually.

The a7s III is a mirrorless full-frame camera that packs a 12.1MP Exmor R CMOS image sensor that can effectively prevent the rolling shutter effect. Paired up with the sensor is the new BIONZ XR image processor, which delivers more processing power than its predecessor. It's also got 5-axis in-body image stabilisation, an OLED electronic viewfinder, and support for two CFexpress cards.

With the hardware provided to it, the Sony a7s III can capture images with an impressive ISO range of 40-409600 and 10fps in burst mode. It's also capable of recording videos with up to 4K resolution in 120p at 10-bit depth and 4:2:2 colour sampling. You also get S-Gamut, S-Gamut3, and S-Gamut3.Cine colour gamut settings, which is useful if you need to integrate your recordings with professional camcorders.

Sony's new camera is certainly packed with features, so if you want to find out all about it then do check out the product page that's already up on Sony Malaysia.
