Steam Labs has revealed a new feature known as the News Hub

Valve has really been working hard on improving its Steam platform lately. Just last week, the developer revealed changes to its search filters, which we found highly useful. But that's not the end and Steam Labs has cooked up another new featured called the News Hub.

The News Hub lets you see the news and posts of the games on Steam or the platform itself. It's basically a news feed that's you can customise according to your needs. For example, you can make it show only posts regarding content updates or sales of games on your wishlist. The options currently available aren't many, but being able to customise already makes it a big difference compared to the current system.

However, with it being an experimental feature by Steam Labs, it's not a guarantee that it would be implemented in place of the current News tab for Steam. But in our opinion, if Steam Labs make it possible to filter what news appear based on individual games, it's definitely the system that people would prefer using. The fact that you can control what you see could be very valuable for people who have a lot of things they want to keep track of.

With that said, have you managed to check out the new News Hub? Do try it out for yourself and let us know what you think on our Facebook page! For more game news like this, stay tuned to TechNave.com.
