Previously we have covered about Superbook here when it was first mooted online. Now that it has started its kickstarter period, they have surpassed expectations – their current USD 944,000 (~RM 3.8 million as the time of this post) amount is about twenty times their initial request!
As a recap, the Superbook is a device that can be connected to your mobile device which transforms it from a smartphone to a mobile computer. The phone now becomes the processing unit for Andromium, which creates a desktop-like experience using the smartphone.
The campaign has just passed two milestones, where the unit will now feature a larger battery as well as a second USB port for external storage purposes. The Superbook device also can be connected to any Windows device to act like a second display, complete with a keyboard/touchpad combo as well.

This device may just change the way we see computers, especially smartphones, work. With just a cable, the productivity options of the smartphone just exploded a hundredfold.
