Looks like the wait will end soon. TECNO confirmed that the new Phantom V Flip 5G will arrive on 22 September 2023. That said, what should you know about this phone?
The company confirmed this news when they dropped a teaser for the phone during an event in Singapore. Based on the teaser, the phone features a “Flip in Style” with a leather-like rear finish, a metal frame, and a dual-tone finish in violet colour. Just like the Phantom V Fold, TECNO confirmed this model will be “Made in India”.

In addition, the company launched a microsite on its India website and an Amazon India microsite. Based on the renders, the phone sports a circular secondary screen, dual cameras, and a circular flash. Rumours also say the phone could feature a 6.75-inch to 6.9-inch 144Hz FHD+ screen, and MediaTek Dimensity 8050 5G chip.
Moreover, it could also feature a 64MP rear camera, 32MP front camera, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Plus, the V Flip variant could house a 4000mAh battery with 66W fast charging. For your information, this phone will debut alongside its new flagship laptop, TECNO MEGABOOK T1 2023 14-inch at the event.
