TECNO SPARK 40, 40 Pro and 40 Pro+ release - 5200mAh battery and up to Helio G200 SoC, 144Hz AMOLED from ~RM564

As we’ve alluded to previously, the TECNO SPARK 40 Series will launch sometime in July, and indeed, the series is now official in Uganda. The first series to feature the MediaTek Helio G200 SoC, it comprises the SPARK 40, SPARK 40 Pro and SPARK 40 Pro+, so read on to learn more. 

 

TECNO SPARK 40 Pro+

The highest-end variant of the three, the SPARK 40 Pro+ debuts the Helio G200 SoC, which is paired with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage. Meanwhile, the battery is a 5200mAh cell, which supports 45W wired, 30W wireless and 5W reverse wireless charging. 

Display-wise, it’s a 6.78-inch 144Hz curved AMOLED with a 1220p+ resolution, an in-display fingerprint scanner and a centre punch-hole cutout housing the 13MP selfie shooter. At the rear, the main camera is a 50MP shooter paired with an undisclosed secondary sensor. 

Other notable specs include Android 15 via HiOS 15.1, an IP64 rating and colour options of either Nebula Black, Aurora White, Moon Titanium or Tundra Green. In Uganda, it starts at UGX769000 or ~RM905. 

 

 

TECNO SPARK 40 Pro

Meanwhile, the SPARK 40 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage. The battery is a 5200mAh cell and supports 45W wired charging via the USB-C port. 

As for the display, it’s the same as the SPARK 40 Pro+, only flat, and the camera setup is also the same. The SPARK 40 Pro is offered in Ink Black, Moon Titanium, Lake Blue and Bamboo Green colour options, and prices start at UGX679000 or ~RM799. 

 

 

TECNO SPARK 40

The SPARK 40 is the vanilla variant of the series and is powered by the Helio G81 SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage. The battery is also 5200mAh, which supports 45W charging. 

The display is a 6.67-inch 120Hz IPS LCD with an HD+ resolution and a centre punch-hole cutout housing the 8MP selfie shooter. At the rear, the main camera is a 50MP shooter paired with an undisclosed secondary sensor. 

In Uganda, the SPARK 40 starts at UGX479000 or ~RM564. No word yet on the availability of the SPARK 40 Series outside of Uganda, so stay tuned to TechNave for the latest developments on this and more trending tech news.
