Besides the recent scam of an elderly person trying to get an Enhanced TnG card, there's another ongoing scam called "Bonus Hadiah Keluarga TM". Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) wishes to highlight that the emails were not officially issued so please ignore this fake contest.

According to the company, the scam email would claim and notify the users that they are a winner of cash prizes in the said fake contest. TM officially told us that there's no family gift bonus, lucky draw, lottery or other similar programmes that require recipients' personal details to claim any prizes. We also urge all members of the public who receive such messages to ignore them and neither reply nor provide any personal details.

On that note, TM would also like to advise everyone to be cautious if they ever receive such messages from suspicious e-mail addresses or unknown phone numbers. TM also urges members of the public who receive calls, e-mails, or messages via SMS from unknown, suspicious individuals to immediately refer the matter to the relevant authorities, contact the National Scam Response Centre (NSRC) at 997, or check with them for more details on any contest or reward programme.

If you have received suspicious emails or calls from companies that claim to act on behalf of or are representatives of TM, customers are advised to contact TM via the below digital channels for clarification:
