The iPhone 13 series has gained a lot of hype after its launch. Not only having a 120Hz display for the first time, but the devices also came with other impressive camera features that photography enthusiasts would love. Besides that, there's the new A15 Bionic chip for all the models as well, but the one for iPhone 13 is said to be different from the one in the iPhone 13 Pro.

The new A15 Bionic chip has two high-performance cores and four cores for energy efficiency in CPU across all the models, but the GPU is different in the Pro ones. Apple might have explained "clearly" that the A15 Bionic's performance for iPhone 13 Pro models is better than the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini. The company states that "up to 30% faster graphics than the competition" for the vanilla iPhone 13 models, while it's "up to 50% faster graphics performance than any other smartphone chip" for the Pro.

9to5Mac has also mentioned that ProRes codec support already explains why GPU used in Pro models is more powerful. The new video encoders and decoders are letting users shoot and edit video in ProRes, which makes it more significant for the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max to have a stronger GPU.
