Have you ever wondered how strong is the Corning Gorilla Glass 6? It's the latest grade to be produced and not so mainstream yet. Moreover, it has appeared on the OnePlus 6T's 6.41-inch AMOLED display. Of course, someone would have the nerve to do some scratch test and YouTuber @JerryRigEverything has already done it.
To put the glass to the test, he scratches the display surface at every point with a screwdriver, a razor knife and a coin. This includes the front camera, the in-display fingerprint sensor area as well. From the video, the middle part of the phone did get scratched but only visible with the light shining. Despite that, the in-display fingerprint sensor was still working so that's good to know. It's also worth noting that the phone will come with a screen protector by default.
