For your information, this virtual assistant is coming to the Google app as we speak. Interestingly, the Gemini App is being rolled out rapidly to various regions on Android and iOS. Unlike Android phones, you won’t be able to access Google from a dedicated app. However, you can toggle the Gemini AI on the top side of your screen.
Moreover, you can switch between the regular search, the discover interface and the Gemini interface thanks to a prominent prompt box at the bottom. Remember, you can only do this once Gemini is activated. To talk to Gemini, simply press the microphone button and then the send button to submit your queries.
In addition, you can listen to the generated response by pressing the speaker icon. You can also use text, voice, images, and your camera to interact with Gemini on iOS. If you have used ChatGPT before, it should provide you with the same user experience.
