Upcoming Huawei Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 will come equipped with the new and improved HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset which features Dual-NPU which allows for greater AI processing capabilities. In terms of camera improvements with the chipset, the HiSilicon Kirin 980 is capable of processing up to 4500 images for per second, 120% faster than industry average. But that’s not all as it supports multi-person motion prediction and object detection tracking in real time.

The upcoming chipset will further improve upon existing features found on the current Kirin 970 such as AI Scene detection, AI Battery Management, image segmentation, translation and so on. We are expecting the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro to make its debut on 16 October 2018 in London of United Kingdom.
