Two weeks ago, the tech specs and expected price of the Huawei MatePad 10.4 were being leaked online, but the official launch date was nowhere to be found. With the price expected to start from RMB1799 (~RM1011), it sounds like the MatePad 10.4 is going to be in the budget range offered by Huawei from its tablet line. Today, it has been announced that the Huawei MatePad 10.4 will be meeting the world on 23 April, the same date with the launch of Nova 7 series.

The upcoming Huawei tablet is going to sport a 10.4-inch FHD+ display with slim bezels and an 8MP front-facing camera. At the back, we will be seeing another 8MP camera sensor as well with LED flash. The Huawei MatePad 10.4 is expected to house a HiSilicon Kirin 810 chipset with support of up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Other than that, it will also bring a large 7250mAh battery for longevity.

Furthermore, the tablet will be featuring a Harman Kardon-tuned quad-speaker setup, so we guess that you could blast music with it in high quality. It will support Huawei’s M-pen stylus (sold separately) as well for you to express creativity and perform tasks seamlessly. These are the only information about the MatePad 10.4 that we could get at the moment, be patient for three more days to find out more about it!
