Previously, we reported that the COVID-19 vaccine registration will be available on the MySejahtera app. With this, the government just recently confirmed that the app will remind Malaysians under the National COVID-19 Immunization Program for a second round.
This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Health, Datuk Dr Noor Azmi Ghazali as he said those under the National COVID-19 Immunization Program are required to have two doses within two months to boost the immunity for the body. On top of that, the app will be providing new updates and information about side effects of the vaccine.
It is estimated that 26.5 million Malaysians will be receiving the vaccination by the end of February. As of December last year, it is understood that more than 24.5 million users have already downloaded the MySejahtera app on their smartphones.
