The OnePlus Open will not be sold in Malaysia - OnePlus Malaysia rep confirms

Previously, we mentioned the release of the OnePlus Open. Today, a OnePlus Malaysia representative confirmed that the phone will not be available on the Malaysian market. You might wonder, why?

For your information, the new phone runs Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with Adreno 740 GPU. It also runs OxygenOS 13.0 based on Android 13. Screen-wise, the phone sports a 120Hz, 2K, AMOLED display for a more immersive user experience.

In addition, the device features a solid 4805mAh battery with 67W SUPERVOOC Charging. According to OnePlus, it could reach a full charge in 42 minutes. That makes the phone feasible for daily and work purposes.

Unfortunately, the phone will not be available here. A OnePlus Malaysia confirms this fact since the OPPO Find N3 is already sold here. In case you didn’t know, the OnePlus Open and OPPO Find N3 are the same device. This is confirmed by OnePlus CEO, Pete Lau. In case if you are interested in the phone, it will cost you RM7999.
