POCO is planning to release another smartphone soon and it's a variant of the POCO F4 series. On POCO India's official Twitter, the company has been hyping the POCO F4 5G and it's a lesser version due to its specs mentioned there over the weekend.
By visiting the Twitter account and scrolling down, the POCO F4 5G has quite an impressive list of features. There's 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a Snapdragon 870 chipset. POCO India also claimed that the POCO F4 5G is one of the most optimised Snapdragon 870 devices.

The Snapdragon 870 on the POCO F4 5G is one of the most optimised Snapdragon 800 series chipsets out there. Combined with LiquidCool 2.0, the POCO F4 5G delivers sustained peak performance which even smartphones with better chipsets can't beat . Let us tell you why. On top of that, it also comes with a LiquidCool 2.0 technology that will serve mobile gamers. The account even released a graph explaining how the LiquidCool 2.0's vapour chamber absorbs the heat from the chipset and then turns the liquid inside into vapour which condenses the phone's temperature.
On paper, the POCO F4 5G is most impressive but other critics weren't shy to point out that it's just a rebranded Redmi K40s that was released in China. The Redmi K series is usually only exclusive to the Chinese market but will get repackaged with the POCO brand name globally.
Should that be the case, that also means the POCO F4 5G would have the same 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision support, as well as a 4500mAh battery with a 67W fast charging feature. Moreover, the triple rear camera should come with a 64MP (main) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro) setup and a 20MP front camera.
The POCO F4 5G has no official launching date yet and we won't be surprised to see the phone coming to Malaysia too. What do you think about the phone? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
